The Sourcelight Media Manager system enables retailers to intelligently merchandise on in-store media displays.

The Media Manager is a scheduling software tool designed to manage digital programming for in-store audio/video networks. A single user can remotely schedule programming for thousands of locations on a store, regional, or national basis through an intuitive, user-friendly graphical interface, called the Master Control.

The system:
• Instantly reacts to customer activity and product availability to deliver targeted messages on storewide television networks.
• Schedules the best media programming for customer traffic in the store at any point in time.

Sourcelight's Media Manager has a myriad of in-store and administrative benefits. The system enables retailers to intelligently merchandise, target in-store promotions, and leverage a kiosk network with additional interactive and more personalized functionality. The administrative benefits include: remote management, flexibility, and a simple scheduling interface.

While the Sourcelight Media Manager functions as a stand-alone product, optimal use occurs in combination with Sourcelight personalization kiosks. The in-store monitors serve as public screens for the entire storewide audience, whereas the Sourcelight kiosks interact with customers more personally. After watching a promotion on the monitors, a customer can immediately respond to any message by using the product/promotional information kiosk. Conversely, if a customer interacts with the kiosks and expresses interest in a special offer, the monitors can then subtly remind the customer of the offer with storewide follow-up messages.

The synergy between these two systems truly occurs when the Sourcelight kiosks feed information on customer traffic patterns and interests to the Sourcelight Media Manager, which then delivers the most targeted and individualized messages to customers shopping in the store at any given point in time. This interaction enables highly targeted visual merchandising to lift store sales and creates targeted ad sales opportunities for additional revenue.
